Close House – Creating Safe Spaces, Building Hope
Close House is a local Christian youth charity dedicated to supporting and encouraging young people across Hereford. Their mission is to be a safe, welcoming presence in the lives of young people, especially those facing challenges such as isolation, low self-esteem, or lack of direction.

Based in the heart of the city, Close House provides:

• Drop-in sessions where young people can relax, connect with peers, and receive support
• Mentoring and life skills coaching to help build confidence and resilience
• Creative workshops and outreach programmes tailored to meet young people where they are
• A listening ear and caring presence, grounded in Christian values of compassion, dignity, and hope

Many of the young people Close House works with are navigating complex life situations. Through friendship, encouragement, and consistent support, the team seeks to show God’s love in action – offering practical help and a belief in a hopeful future.
