Children and young people are an important and valued part of our church family at Challenge Community Church.

All ages gather for a time of praise and worship together for the first part of the service on a Sunday morning before the children and young people go out to their various groups.

Our team of leaders and helpers have all been DBS checked and have a wealth of experience in working with and caring for children and young people.

for pre-school children

We have a separate room with a wide variety of toys, books and puzzles for the children to enjoy in a safe and comfortable environment.

Sparklers & Bright Sparks

for 4-7 year olds (Years R-2)   •   for 7-11 year olds (Years 3-6)

These two groups for Primary School aged children usually meet together and are based in a small hall with plenty of space to enjoy a range of activities to cater for all ages. Each session is focused on teaching from the Bible with a mix of stories, songs, games and crafts enabling the children to explore and learn from the Bible in a fun and interactive way.

Training in Truth  –  for 11-16 year olds (Years 7-11)

With their own youth room furnished with sofas and a TV, the young people are able to meet and learn in a relaxed and relevant way. Through Bible study and teaching, discussion, clips and presentations, the young people are encouraged to delve deeper into the Bible and see how it applies to their lives. There are opportunities to be creative, reflective and to enjoy fun and friendship in a welcoming environment.
